Ewing community mourns family killed in plane crash

(02/06/06) EWING ? A community in Ewing is in a state of mourning Monday in the wake of a plane crash that claimed the life of a local family.

Dr. Jon Kraut, his wife, their three young daughters and the family?s babysitter died when their 10-seat plane crashed in South Carolina Friday. Kraut, an avid flyer, was piloting the Beechcraft King Air 200 when it crashed. Federal investigators are probing the cause of the accident.

Kraut?s brother, Robert, says it is very difficult for his family to deal with the loss. Those who knew the Krauts say they are totally devastated by the deaths.
