Blizzard leaves NJ travelers stranded out in the cold
? The blizzard of 2006 has left many travelers stranded and frustrated at Newark Liberty International Airport.
Strong winds and low visibility have led to airlines canceling more than 100 flights, and many more are expected. Passengers are urged to check with their carrier before leaving for their trip. Many travelers who spoke to News 12 New Jersey said while they?re upset about being stranded, they understand the safety concerns.
The airport isn?t the only place at a standstill. New Jersey Transit has canceled all bus service and limited some rail service.
