Fatal Newark house fire under investigation

? Arson investigators are looking into a fatal fire in Newark Friday that forced some of the survivors to jump to safety from windows.

Witnesses say three men and a woman lived in a two-story home on Johnson Road. They say the woman was screaming for help, but neighbors who tried to reach her were forced back by intense flames and smoke. Authorities say she escaped, as did two of the men who had to jump out of windows. Witnesses say one of them had burns on his back and arms.

Firefighters found the deceased victim on the second floor.
