Protest held after Montville High School principal suspended

Teachers and students protested Friday after the principal at Montville High School was suspended.

Authorities say Stephen Kramer put students? and teachers? lives at risk when he disabled the school?s fire alarms. Kramer is also accused of failing to report a small fire inside one of the school?s bathrooms. The Montville School Board voted unanimously to suspend Kramer.

Some students defend Kramer?s actions. They say classmates were constantly pulling the fire alarms to get out of class.
