Gay, lesbian New Brunswick congregation prays for tolerance

? A congregation of mostly African-American gay and lesbian parishioners worshipped at their New Brunswick church for Easter Sunday.

The 122 members of the Unity Fellowship Church attended the service in a warehouse because they say they have nowhere else to go. Members say they do not want to abandon their faith, even though some of their churches asked them to leave.

Pastor Kevin Taylor says his church fills a spiritual void for the community. Taylor believes members especially need a place to feel welcome on Easter Sunday. Members say they wish everyone remembered that Jesus Christ does not discriminate.
