Boisterous Jets fans catch Gang Green fever in Florham Park

(05/17/06) FLORHAM PARK ? Florham Park residents cheered the arrival of the New York Jets as the NFL team officially arrived at its new home.

Those waiting to welcome the team received stickers, pencils, coffee mugs and other items as part of Jets Day. Even the mayor walked away with a personalized Jets jersey. Fans say they can?t wait to watch their favorite team practice before and during the season.

Earlier this year, the Jets announced they would be moving their headquarters and practice facility from Long Island to Florham Park. The facilities will be built on an old Exxon site.
