? Firefighters battled a four-alarm blaze in West New York that forced the evacuation of several houses Thursday.
Authorities say two warehouses caught fire Thursday evening, sending plumes of thick, black smoke into the air and lighting up the sky. Firefighters fought the flames with water hoses, but expected the buildings to collapse. Investigators have not yet said what caused the fire.
The majority of homeowners were not evacuated, but many were still frightened by the fire. No injuries were reported.
Police have ruled the fire suspicious.
