(06/19/06) TRENTON ? One person is dead and another is wounded following a shooting on Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard in Trenton.

Police say they were called to Samaritan Baptist Church at about 3:45 p.m. following reports of gunfire. One witness reported hearing a quick succession of shots fired near the location. An adult male was struck in the head and killed. Another victim, an 11-year-old boy, was struck in the foot.

Many witnesses refused to go on camera because they were afraid the shooting was gang related. They did not want to go on public record for fear of retribution.
