NJ drivers brace for possible gas hike as violence escalates in Middle East

Posted: Updated:

With fighting escalating in the Middle East, New Jersey residents are bracing themselves for yet another big hike in already unbearable gas prices. Analysts say in the next few weeks, they expect to see record high prices at the pumps. Drivers at the Monmouth Rest Stop in Wall say they wouldn?t be surprised if a gallon of gas hits $4 to $5. Oil analysts say the prices at the pump will depend on how bad the headlines out of the Middle East get. It's because of that uncertainty that stocks are getting hammered on Wall Street and the price of oil has shot through the roof hovering around $80 a barrel. Drivers say they are bitter, but have no choice but to pay up.Related Information: News 12 New Jersey Gas Gauge
