Toms River treasure hunter trolls Jersey Shore with metal detector

A Toms River man known as the Pirate of the Jersey Shore is proving that one man?s junk is another?s treasure.

Lenny Cuzzi has trolled the beaches for years with his metal detector. Cuzzi says he?s scored about $7,000 worth of loot, including jewelry and coins. While some hunt to get exercise, Cuzzi says he?s thrilled to unearth treasures that may otherwise be indefinitely lost.

One of Cuzzi?s fellow hunters reportedly found a gold coin worth $60,000.
