Man falls overboard to his death in Barnegat Bay in Lavallette
Police are investigating the death of a man who fell overboard from a canoe into Barnegat Bay in Lavallette Sunday. Authorities say two other men in the canoe also fell into the water, but swam to safety.

Police are investigating the death of a man who fell overboard from a canoe into Barnegat Bay in Lavallette Sunday.
Authorities say two other men in the canoe also fell into the water, but swam to safety. The victim went under and crews later recovered his body about 7:30 p.m.
Police have not released any names in the incident.
