Woodbridge High School students stunned by car crash tragedy
(09/13/06) WOODBRIDGE ? Stunned Woodbridge High School students arrived at school Wednesday amid news two of their classmates had been killed in a car crash.
Richard Dyak, 17, and Toney Teijeiro, 16, were killed Tuesday night in a multi-vehicle car accident on Route 35 in Woodbridge. Another person, 42-year-old Nancy Potter, was also killed in the crash. Many students say the death of the teens demonstrates how quickly life can be taken at any time.
In addition to sorrow and confusion, rumors began filling the high school halls as the day wore on. Some say the two teens were racing on Route 35 just before their death. Police could not confirm whether speed was a factor in the accident. Four others were also injured in the crash.
