Scarlet fever grips Rutgers football fans

A rematch for the Rutgers University football team had fans camping out for tickets in what is likely to be a game that will go down in history.

Last season, Rutgers took on Louisville and lost. Thursday, the Scarlet Knights have a chance to even the score in a game that promises to be explosive. Both teams are undefeated at 8 and 0, which is making the tickets tough to get. Officials say 10,500 tickets are available and game-hungry fans descended on the stadium parking lot with sleeping bags and tents in tow, hoping for a chance to see the big game.

Fans kept themselves busy with tailgating parties and throwing around the pigskin. However, all bets were off when the ticket office opened Tuesday and the crowd rushed forward. For those who were lucky enough to get tickets, they say the night out in the cold was well worth it.
