Police are investigating a murder-suicide Sunday in Howell that appears to be the result of a marriage gone bad.Police say 64-year-old Sebastian Robert Sgambati shot his wife in the head while she was sitting in her car in the Howell Commons strip Mall parking lot on Route 9. Police say the victim, Gina Sgambati, just finished her shift at the Dress Barn when her husband used his car to box her inside parking spot, walked to her driver?s window and fired multiple shots, as shoppers watched in horror. Police responded to 911 calls and caught up with the shooter at his nearby home on South Westfield Road, but not before he had turned the gun on himself and taken his own life.
