Commuters could face delays due to weekend train accident
Transit officials say the morning commute may be tough in parts of northern New Jersey.
The potential problems stem from a train accident at the Hoboken station yesterday that injured 34 people and forced the suspension of PATH train service there for most of the day.
Some service had resumed by 7:30 p.m. last night, leaving officials hopeful that the today's commute won't be as hectic as initially believed.
Travelers are being told to allow extra time to get to work this morning. However, all three tracks were up and running at the Hobokenstation and no delays are being reported so far.
No serious injuries were reported in the crash, which apparently was caused by a mechanical failure. PATH train crashes pulling into Hoboken station, hurting 34 VIDEO: Footage from site of PATH train crash in Hoboken VIDEO: Press conference on PATH train crash in Hoboken
