NJ woman reunited with car stolen 36 years ago

Janice Maffucci's father's 1969 Camaro was stolen from outside of where he worked in Newark back in 1975.

Fast forward to this year, though, when Janice got a call from the California Highway Patrol, which said it recovered the classic car. She thought it was a prank.

Turns out the car somehow ended up in Tennessee, where, in March, it was sold on eBay. Vintage car collector Keith Williams, in Santa Maria, Calif. bought the car. Williams suspected some parts were swapped so he called police, who determined it was stolen.

Maffucci plans on selling the car directly from California since she doesn't know how to drive a stick and doesn't have a place to keep it in New Jersey.
