Teens struggling to find summer work

School will be letting out soon and for many teens, it may be tough to find summer work this year.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was around 24.9 percent for people aged 16-19 years old in April.

Experts say while the economy is still slowly recovering, many companies have downsized. They say positions traditionally held by youths might be snatched up by older, more experienced people who have been out of work.
