6th-grader who brought gun on bus suspended

A sixth-grader who brought a gun onto a school bus in Branchburg last week will not be headed back to school until 2012.

The Central Middle School superintendent says the administrative code requires the student to be suspended for a year. Officials say he is expected to attend a school run by the Somerset County Educational Services Commission.
