Manchester Village residents upset about unpaved roads
Those that live in Manchester Village always have a bumpy ride, because the roads in their housing development are still not paved.
Potholes dominate the two roads in Manchester Village, and those that live in the townhouses say it is frustrating. They say they have to replace their tires every few weeks because of the conditions.
The non-profit group Homes for All in Toms River owns the property, and says the Pinelands Commission will not allow them to pave the road. The business administrator in Manchester says the township is not responsible for the development, but comes in to re-grade and fill in potholes once in a while as good neighbors.
