Motorists should brace themselves for Memorial Day traffic

This weekend looks like it will be a busy one for the Turnpike. The Turnpike Authority says it expects 3.8 million vehicles on the Turnpike and 8 million on the Parkway between now and Tuesday. State law enforcement and highway safety officials are kicking off their summer safety campaign today. Law enforcement will be out in full force for programs like 'Click it or Ticket' and 'Over the limit, under arrest,' the state's DWI enforcement campaign.

Attorney General Paula Dow is reminding people to take our safety into our own hands as well, stating that people should "be extra careful all summer long - especially on these holiday weekends, when extra cars on the roads."
