Today's weather: Mostly sunny with a chance of a thunderstorm

Today's weather is expected to be hazy, warm and humid to get the unofficial start to summer off to a steamy start.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren, who will be On The Road today at a Greek Festival in Hunterdon County, says temps will reach for the mid-to-upper 80s, but it will feel hotter. Curren says as for getting away for the weekend, especially if you are heading north and west, it could be tricky with strong storms likely to develop.

Curren says both weekend days will be in the mid-80s Saturday afternoon and could be slightly stormier than the rest of the weekend, but not a wash out.
