Police: 2-year-old boy dies in White Township fire
Authorities say a 2-year-old boy died in a house fire in White Township located in Warren County today, and two adults were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
The fire happened this afternoon on Route 46 near the Pennsylvania border. Police say the house was fully involved when firefighters arrived. Firefighters say they tried to do a search but were driven back by the flames.
State police say they were the first on the scene and firefighters arrived shortly after. The firefighters conducted a primary search but didn't discover the 2-year-old's body until after the fire was extinguished.
As of late Tuesday evening, the Warren County Fire Marshal and other agencies were still on the scene, attempting to determine the cause of the deadly fire.
