The Jersey-based and family-owned National Tree Company is a major supplier of artificial Christmas trees to giant retailers like Target and Home Depot.
The business was started in the 1950s. Salvatore Puleo says he joined the family business right after he graduated college in 1986.
The company's trees are manufactured in China now, but National Tree Company still maintains a warehouse in Cranford. When most families are taking down their Christmas trees, the family will already be working on the next big tree for Christmas 2013.
