Holiday travelers hit the road

AAA says 2.2 million New Jerseyans will travel this hoIiday season, making it the second-most traveled holiday season in 10 years.

AAA says it believes that falling gas prices may be contributing to the extra holiday travel this year. Gas prices are at all-time lows for this year, but compared to last year, gas is up about 18 cents a gallon in New Jersey.

News 12 New Jersey visited the Vince Lombardi Service Area in Ridgefield, where travelers were passing through.
