Dozens of families gathered in Paterson tonight to receive free gifts donated by Luis Velez. Velez tells News 12 New Jersey he's done the giveaway for a few years, but with all that's happened in Paterson this year, he felt it was even more important.

Many of the families that came have been impacted financially by floods that ravaged the city, so they're glad that others are willing to give.
