6 families homeless over Christmas after 2 Elizabeth fires

Six families are homeless on Christmas after two separate three-alarm house fires broke out early this morning in Elizabeth.
Elizabeth firefighters also finally brought the massive seven-alarm warehouse fire that had been burning since Wednesday under control.
"We're trying to get through it," says Bill Lavin, of the Elizabeth Fire Department. "It is the holidays, but fire and incidents like this never take a holiday."
Firefighters say fortunately, no one was killed in any of the fires.
Officials say the cause of the two house fires are under investigation, but that the warehouse fire was likely sparked by a car fire in the basement.
