INTERVIEW: Man on Newark-Poland flight that made emergency landing

News 12 New Jersey spoke with Greg Cohen, a Livingston native that was aboard the Newark-Poland flight that made an emergency landing in Warsaw today.

Cohen says the crew notified the passengers about an hour before landing that they were going to have an emergency landing and to be prepared.

He says everyone was "eerily calm" and did a great job keeping each other calm. He says he just prayed to God everything would be OK, and that they were landing at the airport of their destination, and not a field somewhere. Cohen says everyone braced for a massive impact, but it was a pretty smooth landing and that it was scarier getting off the plane.

Cohen, who was on his way to Poland as a boxing promoter, says after seeing the video of the touchdown, he can't sing the pilot's praises enough.
