Problems remain on NJ Transit Morris and Essex lines

New Jersey Transit says service on the Morris and Essex lines remains suspended between Hackettstown and Lake Hopatcong.

The agency says all other rail service is running mostly on or close to schedule this morning.

Service on the Morris and Essex line had been suspended since Saturday, when heavy snows spawned by a massive nor'easter brought down trees and damaged power lines. But the trains started rolling again Tuesday morning.
