Few races expected to be close on Election Day
Following last year's census, New Jersey's legislative map had to be redrawn. Some are unhappy with the results, including Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.), who says the newly broken up districts protect Democratic incumbents.
Only a few races are expected to be close and a low turnout is expected. However, underdog candidates such as state Senate candidate Paul Lund (R-N.J.) in Middlesex County, say they deserve a chance. Lund, a school teacher is running for District 19's state Senate seat, which is a Democratic stronghold. He is running against state Sen. Joe Vitale (D-N.J.) who has a decade of experience.
