Christie: Legislative map gave GOP no shot at picking up seats
Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.)'s Republican Party was unable to pick up any seats in the Legislature during yesterday's state elections. Many Republicans say the outcome was decided months ago, while many Democrats say that the vote reflects the will of the people.
At a news conference Wednesday, Christie said that the state's new legislative map so favored Democrats that his party had no shot at picking up any new seats.
