Weather Update: Dense fog blankets parts of NJ

Drivers are urged to slow down early this morning because of dense fog in parts of New Jersey.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist James Gregorio says a dense fog advisory has been issued until later this morning from Mercer and Monmouth counties to the areas south.

Gregorio says visibility could be a quarter mile or less in some spots. Drivers should leave extra distance between vehicles in case they need to stop quickly.

High temperatures are expected to be between 61 and 65 degrees with increasing sun and wind.
