More changes may be on the way for Christie's cabinet

In the wake of the elections earlier this week, more changes may be on the way for Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.)'s cabinet.

Sources within Essex County have confirmed published rumors to News 12 New Jersey that Paula Dow will leave her post as attorney general and accept a nomination for judgeship.

A former Essex County prosecutor, Dow worked with the governor when he was in the U.S. Attorney's Office.

All nominees must be approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee. State political tradition also gives senators the ability to hold up the nominations of candidates from their home county. Yesterday, Christie announced Board of Public Utilities President Lee Solomon would step down to take a superior court judgeship in Camden County.
