Officials release profile on Union Twp. murder suspect

Union County Homicide Task Force investigators today released new information in connection with the murder of a Union Township woman one year ago.

Frustrated investigators released her suspected killer's behavioral profile, hoping to generate new leads and bring Diane Zaleski's killer to justice.

They say the crime likely caused a major change in the killer's personality. Investigators also believe Zaleski fought for her life and that her attacker suffered cuts and scratches that may have been hard to explain. Investigators say that the killer would have been gone for a number of hours last Nov. 17 and may have come up with a story as to why they were gone for that amount of time.

Anyone with information is urged to call Union County Homicide Task Force Detective Robert Henderson at 908-527-4126 or 908-347-2686, or to call Crime Stoppers at 908-654-TIPS.
