Flooding a rising concern across New Jersey

While Hurricane Irene is no longer a threat, a new threat is rising: flooding.

In New Brunswick, a mandatory evacuation has been ordered is some areas as they are flooded with up to four feet of water.

The flooding stretches from New Brunswick to Highland Park.

Complicating the mater is the numerous fallen trees and downed power lines, making travel difficult.

Officials say that the rivers are already overflowing and conditions are expected to get worse before they get better. They say it could be days before people are allowed to return to their homes.
