Dozens rescued from Holiday Inn in Parsippany

Rescue efforts were made earlier today to free the remaining people from the upper floors of a flooded hotel on Route 46 in Parsippany.

A viewer called News 12 New Jersey this morning to say that about 60 guests were caught inside the Holiday Inn Express since Saturday. The guests spent most of their time without power.

No injuries were reported. Those who were rescued have either been taken to a friend's home, another hotel or a shelter.
