Some of the areas that Christie toured had never seen flooding before and the governor says it's the worst flooding he's ever seen.

Christie is promising help and relief as quickly as possible. He says three-fourths of those who were without power Sunday, now have it back and that electricity is expected to be restored to most by Friday.

The governor also asked that those dealing with outages, downed trees or traffic issues to be patient and put things into perspective.

Christie said, "People are upset about traffic and power out I get that. But let them come to Wayne and see what we saw people have homes destroyed, property destroyed, have to rebuild their lives. If you see that, you can do without power for another day or so."
