Report: Alpine man arrested for having stun gun in checked bag

A 53-year-old Alpine man was arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport over the weekend for allegedly having two stun guns in a checked bag, according to a New York Post report.

The arrest came two just two days after a cleaning crew discovered a stun gun stashed in a seat pocket on a plane that had landed at Newark Liberty airport.

The Post report said Othon Mourkakos was arrested before boarding his Lufthansa Airlines flight for Frankfurt, Germany. TSA officials reportedly discovered the stun guns during an X-ray and physical bag search.
