'Rutgers One' confront University's tution hikesPosted: Updated:
Rutgers students, faculty, and staff joined together today, referring to themselves as a coalition called "Rutgers One."
They converged on the New Brunswick campus to complain that their interests are not being considered. They said while millions are being pumped into the school's football team, faculty and staff have not received pay raises.
After listening to those concerns, the Rutgers board of governors eventually settled on a 1.8% tuition hike.
