Morris Plains putting up 9/11 memorial

Morris Plains is putting up a memorial to the Sept. 11 victims just in time for the 10-year anniversary of the attacks.

The memorial features beams taken from the wreckage and saved by the Port Authority. More than 300 people in this Morris County community got together, raising more than $30,000 to build the memorial.

It will be officially dedicated as the Morris Plains Sept. 11th Memorial on the 10-year observance.
