Summer Swelter: NJ deals with developing heat wave

A heat wave is developing in New Jersey and temperatures could reach 100 degrees by the end of the week.

News 12 New Jersey meteorologist James Gregorio says the heat and humidity could combine to make it feel like 103 degrees for several hours this afternoon. He says thunderstorms could provide some brief relief later today.

Officials are urging people to limit their exposure outdoors and to check on the elderly and pets.
