Girl, 4, falls from second-floor window in Jersey City

Officials say a 4-year-old girl fell from a second-floor window while attending another child's birthday party in Jersey City.

Jersey City police say the child was unconscious and bleeding from the skull after the fall last night. Officials say she fell from an apartment window on Randolph Avenue near Claremont Avenue.

The girl was taken to Jersey City Medical Center, where her condition remains unknown.
