Motor Vehicle Commission releases survey
New Jersey's Motor Vehicle Commission is asking customers how it can improve service.
MVC Commission chief administrator Raymond Martinez is visiting all 39 agency offices this summer to talk to drivers and to employees. The three-month survey will be presented in a 30-day cycle and randomly rotate among the various agencies around New Jersey.
The MVC expanded service hours at all of its offices on July 2.
Martinez says the MVC is also upgrading its nearly 20-year-old computer system that eventually would allow motorists to renew their licenses online or by mail.
The agency has faced two computer glitches since changing service hours this summer.
