50 NJ post offices may be on the chopping block
Some U.S. post offices, including 50 in New Jersey, may be on the chopping block in an effort to save money.
The 50 offices in New Jersey are a part of a much larger list that includes more than 3,600 across the country. A spokesman for the postal service says that the list doesn't mean all of the post offices will be closing and a study will be held first. However, people are still worried about post offices shutting their doors. Some customers News 12 New Jersey spoke with said it would be a shame if the post offices closed. Others, such as workers at Delawanna Station in Clifton and on River Road in Fair Lawn, worry about their jobs.
