Weather Update: Heat advisory issued for western NJ
Dangerous heat is possible this afternoon across interior parts of New Jersey.
A heat advisory has been issued for Camden, Gloucester, Mercer and northwestern Burlington counties until 5 p.m. News 12 New Jersey meteorologist Jim McFadden says highs in the 90s and very humid air will make it feel like the lower 100s in those counties.
McFadden says the rest of NJ will feel like the upper-90s. He adds that the possibility for some strong storms exists later this afternoon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rains, strong winds and hail.
