Storm Damage reported across New Jersey

Severe thunderstorms moving across New Jersey have left damage in many communities. Large trees and wires are reported down in Sussex County near Tall Timbers and in Ocean County near Jackson and Howell.

Jackson Township police say the township experienced a substantial number of trees and powerlines down as well as flooded roadways.

The storms also knocked out power to thousands this evening. JCPL is reporting more than 1500 outages in Ocean County; and more than 500 outages have been reported in Sussex County. PSEG reporting more than 30,000 outages, primarily in Burlington County.CLICK HERE TO SUBMIT PICTURES
