Heat and humidity continues to affect New Jersey

The sticky weather has returned for the first time following last week's heat wave, but Friday night is expected to bring relief by way of thunderstorms.

News 12 New Jersey spoke with people in Ocean Grove, who were doing their best to keep cool. Emmett Johnson says "There's nothing I can do about it, well of course, therefore I have to accept it or go to Alaska."

The weekend is expected to bring hot but drier conditions.
