South River woman helping victims of Joplin, Mo. tornado

For one South River woman, the images of the devastation from the Joplin, Mo. tornado were a call to action.

Liz Donato set up a Facebook page encouraging local residents to help donate supplies to the victims.

"I wanted to give everybody that I could things that we just don't use anymore and it just turned into a beautiful nightmare," said Donato.

Donato was able to locate a trucking company based out of Joplin to donate the time and a truck to carry the donations.

In all a 53-foot truck was filled with supplies to help those who lost everything in the tornado.
