Christie holds town hall meeting in Toms RiverPosted: Updated:
Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.) held his 19th town hall meeting this year at the Toms River National Guard Armory tonight.
Christie talked about how he thinks New Jersey is headed in the right direction. A few hundred people filled the room to hear what the state's top Republican had to say.
The governor spoke on everything from health care and pension reform, to education and taxes. He also took audience questions, which ranged in topics from teacher tenure to veteran assistance, as well as the spending of taxpayer dollars on the controversial Xanadu project.
