Jets linebacker donates sneakers to campers

New York Jets linebacker David Harris and his friends are helping kids at Camp Hope in West Milford get a running start on their summer fun.

The camp caters to underprivileged kids and to those with physical and mental challenges. With the help of Reebok, David Harris donated $40,000 worth of sneakers to the camp.

The camp also used donations from Stephen Tilton, of Shoemacher Chevrolet, to build Harris' Sneaker Shack. Campers come in and pick a pair of shoes for free.

Harris worked with Tilton's "Give Kids Hope" foundation to make the shoe donations. Camp Hope's director says 200 - 300 campers per week will benefit from their generosity this summer.
