Weather Update: Much cooler, muggy; highs in the 80s.

Cooler air is moving over the Garden State this morning after a batch of strong thunderstorms brought an end to the spring heat wave.

Rain lowered record-breaking temperatures by as much as 30 degrees last night in parts of the state.

News 12 New Jersey meteorologist James Gregorio says highs are expected to be in the mid to upper-80s today for most of the state.
